Nothing hard, and with no thick stalks, but made uncomfortable by each of the flower edges as well as the requirement to get over to the neighbours' gardens to do the different side. I used to make use of a Bosch corded hedge cutter and have simply changed to the one that was cordless.
Also it is amazing! It is a shock when you start up it, because it's light and really quiet. There is none of the heavy shaking I'd corded one. It will take a short while to become accustomed to the reality, as well as the lack of the power cable that there is no need to test if it's in the way in which and prone to get cut through! Most of the job used to be weaving the cable in and from back and forth and flower beds across the hedges that is a godsend!
The blades are extremely sharp and give a cut that is really fantastic. The battery charges completely in half an hour roughly, and that i could likely do both hedges on a single charge.

I used to be a bit cautious as it had been purchased primarily for mature Portuguese laurel hedges (which have pretty large leaves and thickish stalks).
I needn't have stressed. First complete charging was fast, also it subsequently sliced with no difficulty on the one charge through most. It cut through stalks up to ~14millimeter thick with almost no difficulty (at times a little sawing a angling or movement was needed) and afforded an effect that is great. It's not so heavy, particularly taking into consideration the item's length; it seems fairly solid, also. It is an excellent piece of gear.
The end result is a hedge that is neatly cut and I did the whole thing. I am pleased by it. Can not wait to cut next weekend to the next touch! I've posted the pictures I took to present the finish (additionally cleanness and the branch depth of cut).
I don't have any reservations.
